Our Mission

MTAC is a non-profit society registered under Societies Act in BC, Canada.

1. MTAC advocates for safe, high-standard, professional, and effective moxibustion therapy in Canada.

2. MTAC recognizes professional members and educational institute members in Canada. Educational institute members must be schools teaching moxibustion therapy and certified or designated by the provincial government in Canada where the schools are located. Professional members must be graduates from those recognized schools with minimum 600 (six hundred) hours of training in moxibustion therapy, or they are registered acupuncturists in Canada.

3. All members must demonstrate and maintain the proficiency of their moxibustion therapy practice.

4. All members must comply with laws, MTAC bylaws, and code of ethics.
